Function

As an assistant site superintendent on of one of the prestigious construction projects within BESIX you are an important part of the success of our projects. In order to complete, you:

• Assist and lead the implementation of the construction project;
• Are partially responsible for production control, output, monitoring and coordination of suppliers and own teams;
• Are partially responsible for supervision and coordination of the execution, installation and site management (logistics, material, ...);
• Follow the planning, and looks after the correct implementation of ISO- and VCA-procedures;
• Stay in direct contact with the General Site Superintendent and the Project Manager with regards to the progress of the building site, the quality of the works carried out and the output of the own teams and the subcontractors.

• You are a dedicated and energetic youngster who constantly seeks for improvement within productivity and quality in order to improve wherever possible;
• You are open for innovation and demonstrates an attitude for continuous improvement in executing your own tasks and processes;

• You have a good academic and technical knowledge, and are eager to use and adapt this knowledge into a practical environment, with the constant will to learn;
• You are an newly graduated Industrial engineer in construction;
• You have the capacity to adapt to multi-cultural environments and a willingness to undertake an overseas mission over an extended period or to work on prestigious projects;
• You are fluent in English, French and Dutch.
