Job interview Techniques
« PreviousNext »
- Be on time for the interview or show up at least 10 minutes early.
- Dress to impress. A professional appearance is key to getting a job. Wear a shirt and tie to show that you are aware of your surroundings and realize that a business deal is being transacted.
- Do some research about the company. You should have some knowledge about what the company does before you go on the actual interview.
- Outline your visions for the job and be able to express these.
- Determine beforehand your expectations, requirements and availability.
- Be able to clarify why the company would be better with your presence.
- You are allowed – better yet – expected to ask questions yourself. Asking questions helps demonstrate your interest in and knowledge about the position.
- Do your best to sound confident when you speak. And use formal speech throughout the interview.
- This should go without saying but; be respectful and polite during the interview.
