Umberto studied History and Political Science at the Free University of Brussels. He started his career in the logistics sector, but decided after two years to focus on a career in recruitment. He joined CrossInt in 2019 as a Consultant.

You can meet Umberto in our Ghent office, as well as in Brussels or Leuven, where he is always driven to work. He likes connecting with different typologies of people from different industries, just that gives him energy. If he could switch jobs for a while, he would like to do so with a serial entrepreneur. It seems very interesting to him to feel how these people keep the overview of their different ideas and companies with many diverse activities and make strategic decisions in it.

In his spare time, he likes to cook, but he also has a sporty side, both long-distance running, cycling and football are among his hobbies.

Umberto is straightforward, his motto comes from John Lennon: “Being honest may not get you a lot of friends, but it 'll always get you the right ones."
